Two Icelandic entrepreneurs have been chosen by the U.S. State Department and U.S. Embassy in Reykjavik to participate in the 2017 Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) to be held Nov. 28-30 in Hyderabad, India.
Sandra Mjöll Jónsdóttir, Co-Founder and CEO of Platome, and Guðmundur Fertram Sigurjónsson, CEO, President and Chairman of Kerecis, will take part in GES, the preeminent annual gathering of emerging entrepreneurs, investors and business leaders from around the world. This year’s summit will feature the theme “Women First, Prosperity for All” and will focus on women entrepreneurs and their potential in entrepreneurship.
GES 2017 will feature more than 1,600 delegates representing 160 countries, including entrepreneurs, investors and CEOs. The summit will focus on four thematic sectors: Energy & Infrastructure, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Financial Technology & Digital Economy, and Media & Entertainment. The United States and India will co-host the event.
