The American Citizen Services (ACS) unit provides information and assistance to U.S. citizens in Iceland. The American Citizen Services Unit is located in the Consular Section of the American Embassy. The ACS unit has implemented an online appointment system for all passport, citizenship and notary services. These services are by appointment only. We do not answer questions or provide services by telephone. Submit queries through our Consular Navigator.
